SimModeler Core

The basic package, containing everything needed to create a mesh and export the mesh for analysis. Advanced meshing features, such as the creation of boundary layers, extrusions, structured meshing through gaps is also included.

SimModeler Parasolid

Allows the import of Parasolid models. Also included are advanced modeling functions for simplifying the geometry.
You want this option if your CAD models are from:
NX, OnShape, Solid Edge or SOLIDWORKS.

SimModeler ACIS

Allows the import of ACIS models. Also included are advanced modeling functions for simplifying the geometry.
You want this option if your CAD models are from:
Abaqus CAE, BricsCAD, Autodesk Inventor, KeyCreator or SpaceClaim.

SimModeler Discrete

Allows the import of discrete geometry and also includes advanced functions for cleaning up discrete geometry.
You want this option if your input files are from:
STL, BSTL, Wavefront, ANSYS, Nastran, IDEAS, Fluent, MEdit, MeshCast, Autodesk 3DS, Exodus, UGRID or GOCAD.

SimModeler Crack

This is a specialized product for lifing simulations. It enables the insertion of crack geometry into the model, and can perform crack propagation cycles using ANSYS, Abaqus and other solvers.

SimModeler Voxel

This is a specialized product for converting voxelized 3D Image Data into discrete geometry which can then be meshed. If you are working with DREAM 3D, Analyze 7.5 or other 3D Image data, you will want this option.
