| For certain types of analysis situations, it is necessary to have meshes that match on two or more model faces. One typical application for this is to enforce a periodic boundary condition between those two faces. MeshSim has a very flexible mesh matching capability that will generate matched meshes on any given sets of mesh faces.
Some features of MeshSim mesh matching capabilities:
- Matching may be through a translation, rotation or a combination of the two
- Multiple faces may be matched to a single face
- After the mesh is generated, MeshSim provides functions to query what mesh entities are matched to each other.
