Simmetrix Inc. Releases Simulation Modeling Suite 5.4CLIFTON PARK, NY, April 13, 2005 -- Simmetrix Inc., the leading provider of component software for simulation-based design and CAD/CAE integration, today announced the release of version 5.4 of the Simulation Modeling Suite. The CAD/CAE market has exhibited an increasing demand for simulation to validate performance early and often in the design process. Simmetrix understands this demand and has responded with its newest version of the Simulation Modeling Suite. Simulation Modeling Suite 5.4 provides a very high level representation of analysis model through the use of abstract classes. An analysis problem can be defined in terms of these higher level Classes. The analysis definition is applied to these Classes and automatically mapped to the current design instance, allowing for design invariant definition of the analysis problem. Simulation Modeling 5.4 also adds the ability to produce run-ready formatted data through the use of XML based pattern files. We are very excited to announce the release of Simulation Modeling Suite 5.4 with the introduction of Abstract Classes and ModelSim Export, said Joe Walsh, Vice President of Business Development at Simmetrix. The addition of these capabilities along with the enhancements to geometry access and mesh generation continue to provide our licensees with the best tools possible to meet the increasing challenges of simulation modeling.
